A small home built with a lot of love. Tiny home: This was a full remodel of this cozy home. Our goal was to maximize the use of the space while keeping the aesthetics. We designed the bed so it not only hid the fresh water tank, but included lots of storage. The storage is accessed by removable hatch covers. There is a six foot long drawer on wheels that fully extends. The headboard folds down to reveal more storage. The nightstand doesn’t open, but it does hide part of the tank and plumbing. The bed frame is sized to fit a queen mattress. We plan to paint everything but the Douglas Fir accents. We also converted the old laundry machine niche to a concealed eating nook, with a tiny little barn door that hides everything when not in use. When it’s done, there will be a couple of little stools, or a bench, that hide nicely under the retracted live edge cherry table.
