A past client of ours reached out and asked if we could build them some custom carriage doors to replace their old aluminum door. The old door wasn’t bad, but it was very low (6’4”). And being an overhead door, it forced the homeowner to have to duck, as he’s also 6’4”. Now there isn’t anything in the way, making the garage far more useful. We set it up so the operable door uses standard door hardware, with a smart deadbolt keypad, so that it’s very easy to use.The vision was to match a Dutch front door that we installed a few years ago.
